Our teacher, Jimmy Dong, has a PhD in engineering and works as an engineer in the Greenville area. He is a 12th generation Chen Tai Chi inheritor – one of the direct in-chamber disciples of Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei, 11 th Generation Inheritor of Chen Tai Chi, one of Top Ten Martial Masters in China, and recent promotion to the rank of 9th Duan, the highest ranking in martial arts awarded by the government of China. Jimmy has dedicated himself to the art of Chen Tai Chi directly under the study of Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei, including Chen Style Tai Chi hand forms, weapons and Qi Gong. Jimmy has organized Chen Tai Chi workshop at Atlanta GA area since 2005 for Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei.
